Tarek was once a Jedi Padawan, captured and broken in the Vaults of the Sith until pain and shame hollowed him out. Taken in by Lord Kovar, he was reshaped through discipline, taught to see cruelty as order and survival as strength. The boy who kissed a whip for approval became the apprentice known as Kal, the Knife, feared for his ruthless efficiency.
